Get your hot takes on Agathia right here, folks!

As most of you probably know by now, there has been a new Dynamic Update out, that has touched on, among other things, the battlebox casters. For Cryx this is Bane Witch Agathia, who has always been a mediocre caster that felt somewhat inbetween Deneghra1 and Asphyxious1, but not as good as either. I'm not sure if the changes are enough to bring her to the foreground, but they definitely serve to make her more unique.

Void Archon

So, we haven't gotten a lot of new models lately, I think it's just Rahera, technically the Hermit of Hengehold, and the incoming Riot Quest Necrotech guy, so I wanted to talk a bit about the Void Archon, which was fully spoiled the other day on the Developer Hangout.

Cryx goes to the WTC

I know there haven't been any posts lately, because I've been busy with things besides playing games. Don't worry, I got a couple of games lined up this week, but in this post I wanted to talk about the biggest thing of the year: the World Team Championship. Lists have been made public and there's lots of interesting Cryx lists, so I would like to go over them and give my thoughts.

Cryx Theme Apocapalooza! (updated)

We finally got some juicy spoilers for the post-Oblivion Cryx themes, so I thought now might be a good time to write a post about it. For those that don't know, basically Privateer Press is revamping the way themes work. Instead of gaining 1 free of slot for taking X points of Y, you will get 1 Requisition point per 25 points of game size, which can then be spent on taking free options. This means that, when playing a 75-point game, you will get 3 of these Requisition points, which would be like most people are building lists now. The difference is that we're no longer limited to taking X of Y, but can freely mix and match whatever we feel works best in any given list and still get some free stuff out of it.
