The Paris Masters were last weekend and I jumped at the opportunity to pump out a bunch of games (6) over the weekend. The event required fully painted lists, so I took my WTC lists for one last spin before they will retire, at least for a while.

WTC 2019
So the event of the year has come and gone. I'm honestly quite pleased with how I did this year, getting an adequate 4-2 personal record and delivering my team to the best result our country has ever achieved!
Deadweight
Today I just wanted to share with you how not to play a Kraken when facing a caster with Deadweight. I happend to face two of them with my Skarre 3 list and failed to properly account for it.
…and make it double
As was foretold, here is the second installment of my experiences this past weekend. This was a 12-player Steamroller with 4 rounds.
Prepare for trouble…
I know it's been quiet for a while, but I promise to make it up to you. Because this week, I don't have one, but two event reports for you. I had 2 Steamrollers planned for last weekend, so I will spread those out over 2 posts of which this one is the first.
Guildmachine Warball
Last weekend saw a delegation of my WTC team going to a relatively small (new) convention in Germany. The War Room update dropped on Friday, so all the events on Saturday and Sunday were going to be with the new rules and themes; excellent WTC practice.
Games!
Last weekend, we had a Warmachine get-together with a bunch of people and I managed to grind out 3 games, so I figured I might as well log my performance.
4-round Steamroller
Had another tournament last weekend. Honestly, I went in with low expectations, partly because Skarre 3 has been taking some punches lately and also because some pretty great players would be there, but in the end I can say I'm very happy with how I did.
Smallish international tournament report
Went to a "local" tournament last weekend in a neighbouring country. There were 12 people hailing from a whopping 5 different countries. This is about as internationally diverse as local tournaments get! Was a nice event to be at as well and I would definitely go back if I didn't take me 3,5 hours to get there in the first place.
Welsh Masters report
I know the Welsh Masters is well behind us now, but I haven't gotten around to making a post about it so far. Let me just start off by saying the Welsh is a brilliant event that just had its tenth anniversary and I hope there will be many more. Anyone who has never been, you should!
